Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the distance selling of the products offered on the website www.advicestore.it (hereinafter “the Site”) and apply to all users who place an order as consumers, within the meaning of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), which implements EU consumer protection law. By placing an order on the Site, the user declares to be acting for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft or professional activity they may carry out.

2. Purpose

These terms govern the offer, submission and acceptance of purchase orders for products sold on the Site, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties arising from such contracts. They form an integral part of every order, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

3. Products, prices and availability

All prices shown on the Site are expressed in Euro (€) and are VAT included. The price, characteristics and availability of a product are those shown on the product page at the time the order is placed.

If a previously ordered product becomes unavailable, the customer will be promptly informed and will be entitled to a full refund of any amount already paid.

4. How the contract is concluded

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when the customer receives, by email, the order confirmation with a summary of the products, price, payment method and shipping method.

5. Payment methods

Accepted payment methods: PayPal (also by card, without an account) and bank transfer in advance. Cash on delivery is not accepted. In the case of a bank transfer, the order is processed only after the payment is received; it will be cancelled if payment is not received within 7 days of the order confirmation.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping via BRT, Poste Italiane, UPS or GLS, or delivery to a pickup point. Costs and delivery times are shown at checkout and summarised on the Shipping page. Risk passes to the customer when they take physical possession of the goods.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

How: using the “Withdraw from this contract” button available on your order page (reachable from your order confirmation email, or from your Account area if registered), or via an explicit notice to info@advicestore.it with the order number.
Return: within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, goods must be returned intact. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Refund: within 14 days of the withdrawal notice (or of receiving the goods, if earlier), including the standard initial delivery costs.
Exclusions: sealed goods opened after delivery for hygiene reasons, and the other cases set out in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.

Note on jigsaw puzzles: the puzzle pieces are contained in a sealed bag inside the box. Once this bag is opened, the product can no longer be resold as new: there is no way to verify that all pieces are present other than by assembling the entire puzzle, and a puzzle with an opened bag has, in practice, no resale market. For this reason, pursuant to Article 57 of the Italian Consumer Code, opening the sealed bag normally results in a decrease in value equal to the full amount paid, which will be deducted from the refund. The right of withdrawal always remains fully exercisable within 14 days, even for puzzles with an opened bag: the above only concerns the refunded amount, not the ability to withdraw. This reduction does not apply if the return is due to a defect or non-conformity of the product (e.g. missing pieces already at delivery, or a wrong or damaged item): in that case the legal conformity guarantee (Section 8) applies, with a full refund.

8. Legal warranty of conformity

24 months from delivery (Articles 128-135 of the Italian Consumer Code). We recommend reporting any defect as soon as possible to info@advicestore.it, but the law does not impose a mandatory deadline for reporting it. If the defect appears within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed to have already existed at that date (Article 135 of the Italian Consumer Code), unless the seller proves otherwise; from the 13th to the 24th month, the burden of proof shifts to the consumer.

9. Product safety (GPSR)

The manufacturer’s and/or EU responsible person’s details, as required by Regulation (EU) 2023/988, are available on request by emailing info@advicestore.it; the Site is progressively integrating this information directly into product pages.

10. Liability

The seller is not liable for disruptions caused by force majeure or by third parties (couriers, payment providers, connectivity issues).

11. Intellectual property

Content of the Site is owned by SG Brothers srl or its licensors.

AdviceStore sells original products from their respective manufacturers. Trademarks, logos and trade names mentioned on the Site (for example: Ravensburger, Schmidt, Educa, Bluebird, Grafika, Trefl, Art Puzzle, Eurographics, Cobble Hill) belong to their rightful owners and are used solely for the purpose of identifying and describing the products offered for sale, without any affiliation, sponsorship or partnership with their respective owners unless expressly stated otherwise.

12. Dispute resolution

EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Competent court: Palermo, without prejudice to the consumer’s right, where mandatory by law, to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence or domicile.
